How many kinds of computer mouse interfaces are there?

The interface type refers to the interface mode or type between the mouse and the computer host. At present, the common mouse interface has three types: serial port, PS/2, USB.


Serial port is a serial interface, that is, COM interface. This is the oldest mouse interface, is a 9-pin or 25-pin D interface, the mouse connected to the computer host serial port can be used.


PS/2 interface is a mouse interface launched by IBM in 1987, commonly known as small mouth. This is a special interface for the mouse and keyboard, and it is a 6-pin circular interface.


USB interface is a new type of mouse interface, many new mouse products before 2013 are using USB interface, compared with the first two interfaces, its advantage is very high data transmission rate, fully able to meet the requirements of a variety of mice in the refresh rate and resolution, can make a variety of high-grade mouse fully play its performance, and support hot swap.
